What Do You Think of This?

Hey all; happy post-turkey, falafel, pizza or whatever meal you use to give thanks with... we used a bunch of turkey, some ham, and traditional trimmin's and it was a fine day.

On another note, I am honestly curious to get a lot of comments on this ad. What are your reactions to it? What do you think it's trying to say? Looking forward to a lively discussion.

  1. Ouch. I've always hated the "No Fat Chicks" attitude. It kind of made me wince.

  2. Just playing devil's advocate (in my opinion the ad is just weird and certainly wouldn't prompt me to buy whatever it's selling - oh, electronic cigarettes, one of the weirdest products on the market) but both the guy and the girl seem pretty happy - kind of an anti-"no fat chicks," hence "no regrets." Why is she wearing dominatrix leather? Bizarre.

  3. This is the thing I was trying to get at - is it a "no fat chicks" ad? Or a "fat chicks rock the mattress" ad? I find the latter possibility to be quite intriguing. If I get a couple more comments on this I will cite the source... ;)

  4. I thin it's a combo "fat chick doesn't regret scrawny dude" and vice versa?

  5. This is Dan and I agree with Jennifer. This ad tells me "I don't follow the herd. I had a fat chick. Now I'll have an electronic cigarette. No regrets." Yeah, they both seem satisfied but she is only a prop for this guy's self-indulgence.

  6. I agree with the anonymous commenter above - neither of these people look like they have any regrets - they look happy and settled in. I think it's a "fat chicks rock the mattress" ad.
